D3 Training Program F.A.Q

Does my child have to know how to dance?
 

Yes. While we will have classes catering to levels, your child should have an certain level of understanding of dance, class structure/etiquette, and a growing work ethic as we can foster your child's passion and training better with these understandings.

What are the commitment requirements?

  • 2 Days a week for training classes

  • Monthly tuition

  • Regular attendance to remain in the program

  • Costume and recital fees

Does my child have to be on the competition team to enroll in the program?

No your dancer does not have to be on the competition team to be a member in our D3 Training Program. D3 Training program is  a good way to transition from recreational to competition dance for those who may not be ready for the competition team for various reasons.

Does my child have to be enrolled in the Training Program classes in order to be on the competition team?

Yes, your child must be registered for training classes at our studio to enhance skills for competition routines. Competition dancers are also now required to complete a certain number training hours each week/month to meet competing guidelines and standards. 

Will my child have the opportunity to perform if they do not compete?

Yes, your child will perform in both our winter and spring recitals along with being eligible to audition for our D3 Entertainment community appearances and performances. 

When is my last day to enroll into the program?

If Auditioning for our Competition Team:

Dancers must be enrolled into the program in August 2025 for class evaluations with a final audition and group placement at the end of August.

If Not Auditioning for our Competition Team:

Dancers must be enrolled by the end of September 2025 in. We will not be accepting any dancers into this program after that date. However, recreational classes are open for enrollment year round.

How Do I Register?

  1. Register for the 'D3 Training Program' in our D3 app or on our website

  2. Pay registration fee + first month's tuition

  3. Be on the lookout for an email or call for your child's class schedule. Your child's class schedule will also be updated in your account within the D3 app.
