Dedrick Perkins


From Charlotte, N.C, Dedrick has been involved in the arts since a young age. 

He received his B.A in Dance at UNC-CHARLOTTE where he originally started in modern and ended his training concentrating more on ballet.


While in college his performance experienced ranged in university concerts, live performance with the Charlotte Symphony, and many more local performances/events.


During college Dedrick spent his time instructing at competition dance studios and volunteering his time as a dance team coach at many local high schools. Many of those received national rankings across all programs. (Public Schools include: Garinger High School, West Charlotte High School. Hopewell High School).


Once graduating UNCC he opened his dance studio where his program continues to grow receiving top rankings at regional and national competitions. 

2016-2019 - Starpower Battle of the Stars Top 3 in various age divisions/group sizes


Along with running his dance studio Dedrick is a sought out choreographer and guest instructor.

Dedrick gives 110% to D3 and enjoys working with all of the students and families in his dance program.

Kionna Perkins


Kionna Perkins, sister of Dedrick Perkins, grew up in Charlotte, NC starting dance at the age of 3. She spent 15 years of competitive dancing and winning numerous high scoring awards and traveling all across the country. In 2018, she was Showstoppers Dance Competition East Coast Finals highest scoring senior soloist and was feature in Showstoppers Magazine.


After graduating from high school, she began her professional dancing career as a dancer for ‘Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes’.

While performing  in New York City she also trained at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.

Right before COVID-19 she also received a job offer from the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. 

Aside from performing, spends her time teaching students of all ages and styles.

Sadé Jones

Instructor/Choreographer/Office Staff

Sadé Jones is a DMV native that started dance at a young age. Growing up as a competition dancer, she received many accolades. 


She moved to Charlotte, NC and attended Johnson C. Smith University where she was co-captain of the JCSU Marching Band 'Blue Satin' dance team. During her time there she has gained a tremendous amount performance experience along with making great connections in the college dance community. 


Sade comes to us offering a wide range of dance genres and skills sets along with being a huge role model to all of the dancers at D3. Sade is a tap and technique teacher for the competition program along with being a huge part of our recreational dance program and front desk staff. 

Sade loves her time at D3 and has a special bond with each individual dancer.
