Dress Code

Dress code at D3 is strictly enforced as attire promotes unity and structure during dancer's training. Parents are responsible for purchasing all items needed for their dancer's class. A studio leotard will be provided to each dancer during registration. Hair should be kept neat for class and pulled back away from face to prevent distraction or injury. Dancers are not allowed to wear their hair down in any classes unless instructed by their teacher. 

Recreational Students:

Combo Class: (Ballet - Tap - Jazz)

  • Studio leotard

  • Dance tights - Skin Tone, Black, or White

  • Ballet shoes - White or Pink

  • Ballet skirt (optional) - Black or White

  • Tap shoes - Black or White

  • Jazz shoes - Black

Hip Hop:

  • Studio leotard, D3 T-shirt, or black top

  • Black bottoms

  • Clean sole tennis shoes (NO CROCS)

Gymnastics:

  • Studio leotard

  • Dance tights (convertible) or black bottoms

  • Barefoot

Jazz Technique:

  • Studio leotard, D3 T-shirt, or black top

  • Dance tights - Skin Tone, Black, or White

  • Dance tights - Skin Tone, Black, or White

  • Jazz shoes - Black

Competition Students:

Ballet:

  • Studio leotard

  • Dance tights - Skin Tone (black tights will be allowed periodically)

  • Ballet shoes - Skin Tone

Hip Hop:

  • Studio leotard, D3 T-shirt, or black top

  • Black bottoms

  • Clean sole tennis shoes (NO CROCS)

Gymnastics:

  • Studio leotard

  • Dance tights (convertible) or black bottoms

  • Barefoot

Technique & Choreography Classes:

  • Studio Colors (t-shirts and sports bras are allowed)

  • Black bottoms

  • Proper footwear depending on class style
